In a seminar, newly appointed judges of Punjab and Haryana revealed their Success Mantras (secrets) to law graduates who are at present aspiring for Judicial services. They shared very enthusiastically their experiences and views about the most coveted services in which they have recently entered. The new aspirants asked them about their preparation, books referred, tips to write good answers in main examination and questions asked in interview.

            The seminar proved very productive to the students for solving their queries regarding how to prepare for a competitive examination. Amareshwar Singh Rank 1st and Aman Sharma Rank 2nd who have qualified both Punjab and Haryana Judiciary exams 2010 will prefer joining Punjab because of Punjab being parent state. Himanshu Arora Rank 3rd son of Mr. S. K. Arora Addl. Session Judge encouraged students for Regular Study and consistent hardwork. Harpreet Kaur Rank 1st in BC Punjab revealed her success secret which was given by her Mentor Sachin Goyal, “Keep pace with class”. Her friend Diksha Dass Ranga believes in victory through the formula of 4D’s- Desire, Discipline, Devotion, and Dedication. Surabhi Parashar, granddaughter of Justice (retd.) Mela Ram Sharma dedicated her success to her parents Advo. Chandermohan Sharma and Sunita Sharma. Shilpi Gupta believes that there is no short cut to success other than hard work. The venue of seminar was Krishna Study Acadamy, S.C.O. 144, First Floor, Sector- 24-D, Chandigarh. The Director of Academy told media that approximately 14,000 students appeared in PCS(JB) & HCS (JB) 2010 Exams. In Punjab 67 students qualified the exam out of which 37 are girls & in Haryana 94 students qualified the exam out of which 39 were girls. Because of fair selection procedure much more students are now planning to appear in the forth coming HCS (JB) 2011 exam.


Today *KITE FLYING COMPETITION *was organised to celebrate* BASANT PANCHMI *
by *KRISHNA STUDY ACADEMY, Sector 24, Chandigarh. *As many as 12 teams
participated  in this competition. The teams comprised of newly appointed
judges of Punjab and Haryana and students of  Punjab, Haryana, Himachal
Pradesh and Chandigarh aspiring for judicial services. Shilpi Gupta (judge)
got gold medal, Surbhi Parashar (Judge) got silver medal and Munish got
bronze medal. Two consolation prizes were bagged by Devender and Henna.
While talking to media Sachin Goyal, the director of the academy told that
Basant Panchami has a specific meaning, Basant means Spring, whereas
Panchami means the fifth day of the spring. It falls on Panchami – on the
Waxing Moon. The festival lies in the month of January-February. The young
girls dressed in the diverse shades of yellow magnify the splendor of
nature. Kite flying, a popular sport in India, is associated with the Basant
Panchami day. It is a day for young crowd – no routine work, no studies,
only merry making.   The day of Basant Panchami is dedicated to Goddess
